Camarillo-based analog and mixed signal semiconductor developer Semtech announced a design win this morning, saying that smart home technology developer Savant is using the company's chips in a design. Irvine-based Myotek , a manufacturer of automotive OEM vehicle lighting products, has acquired Michigan-based Amptech , a manufacturer of circuit boards and electronic assemblies, according to private equity investor New Water Capital, L.P. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Amptech was founded in 1980, and is based in Manistee, Michigan, where it designs, engineers, and manufactures circuit boards for the automotive, utility, and other industrial markets.
