In the latest, cannabis-related startup to emerge with funding in Los Angeles, Cann , a developer of cannabis infused drinks--which it calls "social tonics"--has raised $5M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Imaginary and JM10 Partners. Scopely Buys FoxNext Games From Disney

Los Angeles-based mobile game developer Scopely is buying mobile game studio FoxNext Games Los Angeles , the studio behind the mobile game Marvel Strike Force. Financial terms of the sale were not announced. Disney acquired FoxNext Games Los Angeles when it purchased 20th Century Fox.
