Hulu said it has added "We Got Next", "The Awesomes", "Don't Quit Your Daydream" and "Flow" as new upcoming series rolling out on the service this year and beyond, as it expands its own original content efforts.

The startup, which offers up a website which helps consumers find fun activities in their local area, said the funding came from Lightbank , the venture arm of the founders of Groupon , as well as Bullpen Capital , Baroda Ventures , and Prism VentureWorks, as well as local venture accelerator MuckerLab.
