Connect Homes Finds $10.8M For Prefab Housing


Los Angeles-based Connect Homes , a developer of prefab housing technology, has raised $10.8M in its Series A funding round, according to the company. The funding was led by Brick & Mortar Ventures and Virgo Investment Group, and also included MetaProp, Almubader Growth Fund, and Wells Fargo Strategic Capital. As part of the funding, the company added Brick & Mortar's Darren Bechtel, and Virgo's Scott Johnson to its board of directors.

The San Diego-based company is part of Adigica Health, an e-commerce company founded in 2016 to develop and market direct-to-consumer healthcare products.

DTS Links Play-Fi Into AirPlay 2


Calabasas-based audio technology developer DTS , which is owned by Xperi, said this morning that it has begun supporting Apple's AirPlay 2 in its DTS Play-Fi products. DTS offers up its Play-Fi technology to audio equipment OEMs, allowing those OEMs to build their own whole-home audio systems. According to DTS, so far, support for AirPlay 2 has rolled out on the McIntosh RS200 and Arcam rPlay, with additional products to be announced this year.

SpaceX Planning Another Try On Starlink Satellite Launch Today


SpaceX , which is in the midst of attempting to launch 60 satellites into space, said that it will try again today to launch its first set of Starlink communications satellites into space today at 10:30 p.m. SpaceX scrubbed the original launch on Wednesday, due to excess upper level winds. SpaceX is launching the 60 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

Tealium Takes $55M More


San Diego-based Tealium , which develops tag management software used data integration, has raised $55M more in a Series F funding round, according to the company. The funding was led by Silver Lake Waterman, and also included ABN AMRO Digital Impact Fund, Declaration Partners, Parkwood and existing investors. The funding reportedly values the company at $850M.
