Grindr Plans To Go Public Via SPAC Deal


West Hollywood-based LGBTQ+ dating app developer Grindr said on Tuesday that it in a deal to go public, via a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). According to the company, it plans to combine with Tiga Acquisition Corp., which trades on the NYSE as TINV. The company said the deal includes $284M from Tiga Acquisition Corp., and $1.6 billion in rollover equity, giving the combined company a post-transaction enterprise value of $2.1 billion.

Tinder's Parent Company, Match, Suing Google Over App Payments


Match Group, the parent company of Los Angeles-based dating app developer Tinder has filed a lawsuit against Google, claiming the Internet giant has too much control over payments in its Google Play app marketplace. Tealium Names Chief Customer Officer


San Diego-based Tealium said today that it has named Tony Nadalin as the company's Chief Customer Officer. The company said Nadalin was most recently at Synopsys, where he had been serving as Group Vice President for the last four years; he also served at Oracle Marketing Cloud and Marketo. Tealium develops "tag management" software used by brands to track customer data on the web, mobile platforms, on IoT, and elsewhere, tying that into a customer data platform.

HCAP Partners Backs FleetNurse


San Diego-based private equity investor HCAP Partners said this morning that it has made an investment in Eugene, Oregon-based FleetNurse, a provider of on-demand healthcare staffing software. Financial details of the investment were not announced. According to HCAP, Nicolas Lopez, a Principal at the company, will join the FleetNurse board of directors. FleetNurse operates a service to help fill shifts on short notice. FleetNurse is led by CEO Israel Angeles.

FaZe Clan In Deal With Keyboard Brand Ducky


Los Angeles-based e-sports brand FaZe Clan said Monday that it in a collaboration with mechanical keyboard maker Ducky, which will see the brand offering up its own branded keyboard. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to the two, FaZe Clan will expand into providing its own gaming products and electronics, with its own FaZe-branded keyboard, called the FaZe Clan x Ducky One 3 Mini. Snap's Pixy Drone Sees Major Shipping Delays
