Elon Musk , the CEO and founder of Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX , hopes to put human beings on Mars in six years, and an uncrewed landing on Mars in about two years, he said yesterday in Germany. Musk--accepting an award from media company Axel Springer in Germany yesterday--also said he hopes to get to orbit himself in the next two or three years.

Report: Amazon In Talks To Buy Wondery

A new report this morning, from Bloomberg, says that Amazon is in exclusive talks to acquire Los Angeles-based podcasting publisher Wondery. Terms of the possible deal have not been released. Wondery has reportedly been looking for a buyer since early in November, seeking anywhere from $300M to $400M. Wondery is backed by Waverley Capital, Lerer Hippeau, Greycroft, BDMI, Advancit, Water Tower Ventures, and Powerhouse Ventures.
