Snap Pitches Spectacles As Filmmaking Tool

Santa Monica-based Snap , the parent company of Snapchat , is still on a quest to make its fancy (and expensive) 3D image capturing Spectacles sunglasses a hit, and is now pitching the $380 Spectacles 3 as a film-making tool. According to Snap, it has funded and is now promoting a short film, "Duck Duck", which was made "to explore storytelling in 3D". Snap--which is streaming the short film on its Spectacles website, was created with its Spectacles 3 and its dual-HD cameras.
