Revnue Launches Contract Authoring Software


Los Angeles-based Revnue Corp. said today that it has launched a new feature for contract authoring and negotiation. According to the company, its new "Pre-Signature" feature helps its customers author contracts, and move towards "efficient and standardized contract templates and frameworks", according to the company. The startup says it uses AI software for it digital contract management software, and that it was founded by veterans from Microsoft, Warner Bros., and VMware.

Romeo Power Acquired By Nikola For $144M


Los Angeles-based battery systems developer Romeo Power has been acquired by electric heavy truck maker Nikola, in a deal worth $144M, the two companies said on Monday. Nikola will pay 74 cent per share for Romeo Power. Slingshot Aerospace Acquires Two Companies


Los Angeles- and Austin-based Slingshot Aerospace, which develops space simulation and tracking software, said this morning that it has acquired two companies the Space Division of Numerica and Seradata. Financial details of the buy were not announced.

Mindbody Names New CEO


San Luis Obispo-based wellness software developer Mindbody has named a new CEO, saying on Tuesday it has appointed Fritz Lanman to the position. Lanman replaces current CEO Josh McCarter, who has moved to Mindbody's Board of Directors. Lanman, currently serving as President of ClassPass and Mindbody Marketplace, was CEO of ClassPass pre-acquisition, according to the company. He was the lead investor in ClassPass, in both its seed and Series A round, and also served at Microsoft.

GITAI Shows Off Robotic Arm For Space


Torrance-based GITAI USA, which develops space robots, says it has demonstrated a 10 meter, robotic arm designed for use in space. According to the company, its new GITAI S10 has successfully completed tests to meet NASA's level 3 "Technology Readiness Level" TRL. The company said it is looking to get the arm to underwater testing by March of 2023, which is NASA's TRL 6 (System/subsystem model or prototype demonstration in a relevant environment) qualification.
