San Diego-based MarketSpark, which is providing managed wireless services to help companies replace their plain old telephone service (POTS) infrastructure, says it has raised $7M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by IDT Corporation and also included Goldie Group and Klein Enterprises. As part of the funding, Shmuel Jonas, CEO of IDT Corporation, and Daniel Klein, CEO of Klein Enterprises both join the company's board.

Los Angeles-based J2 Global said this morning that it has acquired one company, and divested two. According to the company, it acquired HowLongtoBeat, and divested City Numbers and Callstream. HowLongtoBeat is an online website that lets videogame players track the playtimes of their games. City Numbers and Callstream are both part of J2 Global's UK cloud services business.

Los Angeles-based Cast & Crew, which develops payroll and human resources, accounting and financial, and workflow and productivity software for the entertainment industry, said yesterday that it has acquired LeBog Software, a developer of digital purchase order software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. LeBog Software is based in Berlin.
