Audi’s new V2I feature helps drivers hit every green light

Audi has added a new feature to the vehicle-to-infrastructure technology embedded in its newer models that’s designed to help drivers catch every green light. The tech, called GLOSA or Green Light Optimized Speed Advisory, is part of the automaker’s built-in traffic light-reading technology. And Audi says it’s the first automaker to include this GLOSA feature in its cars.

According to Cylance, the deal will make it easier for customers to find, procure, and install its AI technology on AWS instances.

Songtradr Acquires Big Sync Music Ltd

Santa Monica-based Songtradr , which offers up an online music licensing platform, said on Tuesday that it has acquired Big Sync Music Ltd. , a UK-based creative music licensing agency. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Songtradr said that Big Sync Music is headquartered in London, and also has teams in Singapore and New York, and has clients such as Dove, Knorr, Magnum and AXE to Johnnie Walker, Samsung, Amazon and Lipton.

According to the Air Force Space and Missle Systems Center, SpaceX won one of two Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) launch services contracts, worth a total of $297M. Carlsbad-based satellite broadband provider Viasat said this morning that it has been selected by EL AL Israel Airlines , to provide in-flight Wi-Fi on EL AL's transatlantic flights. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Viasat said EL AL will be using its Viasat-2 based broadband Internet service, covering travel to and from New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Miami and eventually, San Francisco and Las Vegas, when EL AL launches flights to those cities later this year.
