Oblong Gets Win With Major Mining Firm

Los Angeles-based Oblong Industries , the developer of futuristic data collaboration and virtual meeting tools--which is owned by Glowpoint, Inc.--said this morning that it has scored a big win with an un-named, global mining, metals, and petroleum company. Name of the customer, and financial impact of the win were not announced. According to Glowpoint, the un-named customer has deployed Oblong to a new office complex in Southeast Asia.
