ChargerHelp Connects With $2.75M For EV Charging Repair

Los Angeles-based ChargerHelp, a new startup focused on offering up repair to electric vehicle charging stations, has raised $2.75M in a funding round, the company disclosed on Monday. The startup, founded by Kameale C. Terry, said the funding came from Trucks VC, Kapor Capital, JFF, Energy Impact Partners and The Fund. ChargerHelp said it offers up on-demand repair of EV charging stations, using a local workforce which has been trained on EVSE maintenance.

According to the company, the new product--the Volonic Valet 3--is available for pre-order, and will include 1,500 grams of 18-karat yellow gold. The company--which apparently has yet to build the charger--also offers up other, "luxury" wireless chargers, starting at around $685.00.
