Torrance-based CarParts.com , which operates an online marketplace for car parts, said this morning that it has added a new member to its board of directors. The company said that it has added Dr. Lisa Costa, Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Special Operations Command, to the board, to help bolsters its big data, cyber, and tech expertise. The company said Costa oversees a $1.2 billion budget and an IT system including cloud infrastructure, mobility, satellite and terrestrial communications
