Biocept Moves To New Offices, Labs

San Diego-based molecular technology developer Biocept says it is relocatin gits corporate offices and labs to a new, 39,000 square foot location on Mesa Rim Road. According to biocept, the move is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Biocept said the labs will be both CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited. According to Biocept, the move will allow it to support growth while reducing rent expense and other facility costs.

Irvine-based CTC Global , a developer, marketer and manufacturer of carbon fiber composite cores used in high voltage power lines, has named Kevin Corbalis as its new Vice President, Engineering and Product Development. Corbalis was most recently at Core Health And Fitness, serving as Vice President, Engineering, and Product Development. CTC Global said Corbalis will lead its engineering, product development, and research and development teams.
