LA's Circular Systems Scores Funding From Levi Strauss For Sustainable Apparel

Los Angeles-based Circular Systems , a startup developing material science technology to transform waste into fiber, yarn, and textile fabrics for the fashion industry, has scored funding as part of a Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) accelerator effort, Levi's announced today. Amount of funding was not announced, however, Levi's has been offering up as much as $50,000 to startups to help tackle some of the sustainability challenges in the apparel industry.
