Ionis said the payment was related to pricing approval for SPINRAZA in Japan. Ions says it has now earned more than $435M from Biogen related to SPINRAZA. Ionis Pharmacueticals said the compound is now available in the U.S., EU, Japan, Canada and Brazil.
