Bionaut Labs Gets $43M For Micro Robotics

Los Angeles-based Bionaut Labs, a company developing microscale robots for treating central nervous system (CNS) diseases and disorders, said this week that it has raised $43.2M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Khosla Ventures, and also included Deep Insight, OurCrowd, PSPRS, Sixty Degree Capital, Dolby Family Ventures, GISEV Family Ventures, What if Ventures, Tintah Grace and Gaingels, plus Upfront Ventures, BOLD Capital Partners, Revolution VC, and Compound. The company has now raised $63.2M in total. The company's microrobotics are aimed at treating disease of the brain and central nervous system.
