Irvine Gets Self Driving, Ride Sharing Service From Hyundai

Irvine is getting its own fleet of self-driving, ride sharing vehicles, according to Hyundai , poowered by autonomous vehicle developers Pony.ai and Via. The new service, called BotRide , which offers up free ride-sharing for the community of Irvine, using a fleet of self-driving Hyundai KONA Electric SUVs. Hyundai said the service will run from November 4th through January 31, 2020, as a pilot.

Irvine-based e-sports programming provider Allied Esports and Mexican television producer TV Azteca said this morning that the two have entered into an alliance, where Azteca Esports will broadcast the Gears 5 Pro League in Latin America. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to the two, October 28, Azteca Esports will produce live, weekly coverage of the four-team Latin America region, including a live finale on November 25 at TV Azteca Studios in Mexico City.
