DTS Gets Headphone:X Win With LG

Calabasas-based audio processing technology developer DTS announced this morning that its DTS Headphone:X technology has been integrated into several new notebook PCs from LG. According to DTS, the technology will be designed into the LG Gram series models 13Z970, 14Z970, 15Z970 and 15U470, the first notebook PCS to integrate the technology. Terms of the technology licensing deal were not announced.

The company said its MxL603 global terrestrial tuner--used for decoding over-the-air HDTV--is being incorporated into Air HDTV, a product being developed by Wireless Innovation Group.
