Los Angeles-based online ordering technology developer ChowNow says it has launched a new product, called the Order Better Network. According to the company, the new product helps connect restaurants to over a dozen channels for delivery and takeout. The brands include Google, Snapchat, OpenTable, Tripadvisor, Yelp, plus a number of airline and hotel rewards programs.

Carlsbad-based mionx, a developer of lithium-ion battery technology, says it has received a Series B financing round. Size of the investment was not announced. The funding came from existing investor Qualcomm Ventures LLC, as well as Hongkou Management and Inherent Group, along with other investors. The company said the funding will go to accelerate transfer of its technology to lithium-ion battery manufacturers.
