Romeo Power Selected For Delivery Vehicle

Los Angeles-based battery developer Romeo Power, which develops lithium batteries and related technology, said last week that it has been selected by a U.S. manufacturer of Low-Speed Electric Vehicles (LSEVs) being used for delivering food, packages on campuses and for the last-mile. Size and terms of the deal were not announced. Lytx Sees Sales Increase In Q1

San Diego-based fleet management systems developer Lytx said today that it has seen a 65 percent, year-over-year increase in its subscription sales during its first quarter of 2022. Financials behind those increases were not announced, however, the company said it is seeing "unprecedented demand" from enterprise fleets and its third party resellers. Lytx said it saw record growth and revenues in 2021. Lytx said it sold more than 100,000 subscriptions to its services in the first quarter.

Camarillo, California and Nanjing, China-based AskGene Limited, a startup biopharmaceuticals company, said today that it has raised $20M in a Series A financing round. The funding was led by Qiming Venture Partners and TF Capital. According to the company, it is working on cytokines for immunotherapy. AskGene is led by CEO Jeff Lu.
