Orange, California-based Alignment Healthcare , which develops technology used for population health management around Medicare Advantage, has raised $135M in a Series C funding round, the company said on Wednesday. Alignment Healthcare said the funding came from Fidelity Investments, T. Rowe Price and Durable Capital Partners. Alignment Healthcare says it has now raised a total of $375M in total.

The Walt Disney Company has opened up applications for its startup accelerator, the 2020 Disney Accelerator , saying that applications are due by April 3rd to apply for its three month mentorship program. According to Disney, it will select ten "growth-stage" startups to participate in its program, connecting them with Disney's leadership team and other mentorship.

Google said on Wednesday that it has opened up a brand new, games and entertainment studio in Playa Vista--the Stadia Games and Entertainment Studio --which will focus on delivering games and which will employ a team of game designers, artists, and storytellers. Amazon Studios , the content production arm of Amazon --which has most of its operations in the Los Angeles area--has cancelled its plans to attend next week's SXSW , over concerns of the novel coronavirus outbreak which is making its way into the United States. According to Variety, the company has dropped plans for two screenings and panels, and consumer marketing.

Santa Barbara-based Sonos , the developer and manufacturer of whole home, audio systems and devices, has named two new directors to its board, the company said Tuesday. According to Sonos, it has appointed Deirdre Findlay, Chief Marketing Officer of Conde Nast, and Joanna Coles, former Chief Content Officer of Hearst Magazines, to its Board of Directors.
