The funding was led by Quest Venture Partners, and had been announced during the holidays. The startup is led by Co-Founder and CEO Carter Russ. The company's fantasy sports app is centered around specific sports events, like playoffs or the NFL draft.

The company--formerly known as Soraa Laser Diode, Inc.--says it will oeprate under the new name KYOCERA SLD Laser, and is now 100% owned by KYOCERA.
