Costa Mesa-based Veritone said Monday that it has acquired Denver-based Wazee Digital , a provider of cloud-based video management and licensing services. Veritone is a developer of artificial intelligence software used to analyze audio, video and other data sources. Veritone said it paid $15.0M for Wazee Digital, split between $7.5M in cash and $7.5M in Veritone common stock.

Costa Mesa-based Veritone One , a subsidiary of Veritone, said today that it has agreed to acquire Performance Bridge Media , a podcast advertising company. Veritone said it would pay $6.0M for Performance Bridge Media, plus up to another $5.0M in earnout. According to Chrome River, ExxonMobil's 70,000 employees will use the company's software, as ExxonMobil's employee expense management solution. Financial impact of the deal were not announced.
