Activision Launches Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Worldwide

Santa Monica-based videogame publisher Activision said this morning that the latest sequel in its Call of Duty series of games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 , is now available worldwide. The company said the title is now avaliable both digitally and at global retailers worldwide. The new game includes multi-player options, "more Zombies available on day one than any other game", a new mode called "Blackout", among other features.

Stratolaunch Sees Successful Testing

Mojave- and Seattle-based Stratolaunch , which is backed by Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen, has seen some successful testing of its launch vehicles, the company said this week. According to Stratolaunch, it has successfully been flying its vehicles out in the Mojave desert this week, reaching a top speed of 80 mph for its launch vehicle. The aircraft is designed for use as a "mobile launch platform" to help carry satellites into orbit, and is currently the world's largest aircraft.

Rincon Venture Partners Sees Exit At Rentlytics

Santa Barbara-based Rincon Venture Partners , the venture fund which was led by Jim Andelman before Bonfire Ventures, has seen an exit of its portfolio, at San Francisco-based Rentlytics. Rentlytics has been acquired for $57M in cash by RealPage , a Texas software developer for the multi-family real estate industry. Rentlytics was venture backed by Trinity Ventures, Rincon Venture Partners, Cue Ball and Daher Capital.
