Snap Inc., parent company and developer of messaging app Snapchat, has confidentially filed for an initial public offering of its stock with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to multiple press reports. The Venice-based company would likely initiate its IPO in March, an offering which would value the company between $20 billion and $25 billion, according to sources cited by Reuters and The Wall Street Journal.

Amazon.com announced today that it has started offering up free, one-hour delivery from more than 50 restaurants in Irvine, the sixth city in California that Amazon has launched its Prime Now restaurant delivery services. Amazon, which runs the service through a separate Prime Now smartphone app from the rest of its services, lets users browse menus, track delivery status, and even track where their delivery driver is with their food.

Calabasas-based network testing software and hardware developer Ixia announced this morning that it has launched a new product, CloudStorm, to provide network security testing of hyperscale cloud data centers. The company said the product will test and validate the increased capacity, efficiency, and resiliency of hyperscale cloud data centers, including how well those centers can handle SSL traffic and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.

Los Angeles-based Fandango said today that FandangoNOW , the company's on-demand, premium video service, has launched on the Xbox One and Xbox One S. The company said the available on the Xbox One platform allows consumers to rent or buy more than 40,000 new release and catalog movies and next day TV shows. FandangoNOW is also available on the Web, iOS and Android, various smart TVs from Samsung, LG, and VIZIO, along with others.

Work by a contractor on Los Angeles-based electric car maker Faraday Future 's factory in Las Vegas has been stopped, according to reports on Monday. The work--which was being done by another Los Angeles company, AECOM--has halted because Faraday Future apparently is late on payments to AECOM for the work on what is supposed to be a billion dollar factory for its yet-to-be-unveiled electric car.

Santa Monica-based human capital management software developer Cornerstone OnDemand has signed on Italian luxury menswear brand Canali as its newest customers. Cornerstone OnDemand said Canali is implementing its talent management software to better recruit, develop, and manage its people. Financial impact of the customer win was not announced.
