Comhear Collects $12M

San Diego-based Comhear , a developer of immersive, 3D audio software, announced on Monday that it has raised $12M in a Series A funding. The source of the funding was not announced, however, the company said that Gerry Chastelet, former Chairman and CEO of Dominus Innovations and Digital Lightwave has joined the company as CEO as part of the funding, and that Andrew Arno, Vice Chairman of the Special Equities Group at Chardan Capital Markets LLC, has joined the company's board of directors.

Faraday Future Plans to Race FF 91 to Top of Pikes Peak

Esri Deploys Software With US Navy

Redlands-based geographical information systems software developer Esri announced a deployment with the U.S. Navy last week, saying that its technology is being used by the US Navy for its unmanned vehicle systems. According to Esri, its ArcGIS tools are being used by the Navy to collect sensor data from its maritime remote vehicles, letting the Navy analyze data from the ocean such as water temperature, humidity, wind speed, and topography, in near real time.
