Stopping by your local, Los Angeles 7-11 convenience store for a free Slurpee today? While you are there, you might notice that you can now buy Soylent , the meal replacement product created by Los Angeles-based Rosa Foods. According to Soylent, it started offering up its "nutritionally complete, ready-to-drink meals" at 18 of 7-Eleven's stores in the Greater Los Angeles area on Monday, including a number of locations across Los Angeles, plus Santa Monica, Culver City, Venice, and elsewhere.

Jam City Launches Snoopy Pop

Los Angeles-based mobile game developer Jam City said this morning that it has officially launched a new "bubble shooter" game, Snoopy Pop , which features characters from the Peanuts and Snoopy. Jam City--which had announced a deal with Peanuts Worldwide earlier this year around the game--said the game allows anyone with a mobile device to "help rescue Woodstock and his flock of birds who have been trapped in bubbles.

Nimble Links Into Microsoft Office 365

Santa Monica-based customer relationship management (CRM) software developer Nimble has connected up its software to Microsoft Office 365, the company said on Tuesday. Nimble said the link will match up and provide social profiles, from within Microsoft Office 365, Outlook desktop and iOS. Nimble's CEO is Jon Ferrara, who was an early pioneer in the CRM space, having previously founded GoldMine.

Elon Musk Buys Back X.com

Elon Musk , the founder of SpaceX and Tesla Motors, has acquired the domain name X.com , from PayPal. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Elon Musk had started X.com in January of 1999, before it merged with Confinity and became PayPal. Apparently, Elon Musk had acquired X.com from its former owners for stock in X.com (now PayPal), well before PayPal's IPO.
