San Diego-based fintech startup FutureProof, a new startup whic says it is developing financial technology to enable asset managers, banks, and insurance-sector institutions to quantify and manage the financial impacts of climate change, has raised $3M in a funding round. The funding was led by Innovation Endeavors, and also included MS&AD Ventures and Blackhorn Ventures.

Costa Mesa-based TOCA Football, which operates 14 sports centers focused on soccer training, has raised $40M in its Series E funding. According to TOCA Football, the Series E funding was led by current investors WestRiver Group, RNS TOCA Partners LLC, and D2 Futbol Investors, LLC, and also included new investors, including angel investor Jared Smith, the co-founder and former COO of Qualtrics.

Los Angeles-based Mapped, a developer of artificial intelligence-powered software used for industrial Internet-of-Things (IoT), has raised $6.5M a second seed funding. The funding came from MetaProp and Allegion Ventures, plus Singtel Innov8, Greycroft, and ANIMO Ventures. The company said the seed II fund brings its total raised to $9.5M, including a $3M funding round in February of 2020.
