Los Angeles-based Dollar Shave Club , the subscription razor delivery startup led by Michael Dubin, has upped its latest funding round to $90.7M, and is aiming at raising over $100M, according to a regulatory filing by the company. The additional funding is on top of $75M raised by the startup in June , as part of the same round. Details on the additional funding in the round were not annoucned.

Westlake Village-based nexGenic , a developer of healthcare software, said this morning that it has launched a new, mobile app, which helps patients transfer and store medical images and diagnostic reports. The company said its new ImageInbox mobile app runs on Android OS and iOS, and lets users store radiology images and diagonstic reports in a HIPAA-compliant way.

Santa Monica-based online car buying startup TrueCar announced today that it has named Chip Perry, the former CEO of AutoTrader.com, as its new President and CEO. According to TrueCar, Peery will take the reigns at the company effective December 15th, taking over from TrueCar founder Scott Painter, who is stepping down from the company. Painter also leaves the company's board and steps down as chairman.

Los Angeles-based Mixcord , a startup developing a mobile app which lets performers record, synchornize, and share their vocal harmonies, dances and skits, has raised $1M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Mucker Capital, Social Starts, and angels. Mixcord was founded by Ihung Tu, and says its app, Acapella, has been used by such artists as Lil Wayne, Young Money, Austin Mahone and Von Grey, along with other celebrities, aspiring singers, and fans.

Woodland Hills-based United Online announced this morning that it has embarked an a "review of strategic alternatives", including the potential sale of the company or sales of its assets, after an unsolicited takeover offer from B. Riley Capital Management. According to United Online, it is looking to "maximize shareholder value" in the strategic review, and it also has rejected, outright, the offer from B.

No details on that funding--which look to be the company's first ever--have been announced by the company. the filing said that 18 investors participated in the funding, worth $20.329M.

Hawthorne, California-based space rocket developer SpaceX has its first, real, commercial competition, as of Monday, after competing rocket developer Blue Origin launched its first successful test into space. SpaceX which was given the order last week to start working on a manned mission to deliver astronauts to the ISS--has so far dominated the market for commercial rocket launches, despite the claims and efforts of a number of potential competitors.

Aliso Viejo-based Microsemi and PMC-Sierra said this morning that the two have entered into a definitive agreement, where Microsemi will acquire PMC-Sierra, for approximately $2.5 billion. The deal comes after a bidding wart between Microsemi and Skyworks Solutions to acquire PMC-Sierra, which had agreed in October to be acquired by Skyworks for $2.4 billion.

The startup, founded by Luke Kervin and Travis Schneider, develops software that manages patient acquisition, retention, analytics, and more. The company said the new funding brings its total raised to $13.3M.

San Diego-based renewable power developer EDF Renewable Energy said Friday that it has sold a 50 percent interest in its 194MW, Spinning Spur 3 Wind Project, to a fund managed by BlackRock. Financial size of the deal was not disclosed. The two said that the sale went to a fund managed by BlackRock's Infrastructure Investment Group, and is the third of five agreements between the two involving EDF Renewable Energy's wind projects.
