Three LA Organizations Score Funding From Google For CS Education

Three, local Los Angeles organizations -- DIY Girls , LA Maker Space , and Teens Exploring Technology (TXT), have scored nonprofit funding from Google, as part of the 2016 Google RISE Awards , according to the groups. All three of the groups are helping to overcome the lack of computer science education in local, LA public schools.

UCI School of Medicine Adopts Google Glass

According to the school, it will start by integrating Google Glass into the operating room and emergency department, starting with 10 pairs of Glass for its third and fourth year students.
