Los Angeles is partnering with on-demand shuttle-based service Via as part of a pilot program that will give people rides to three busy public transit stations. Under the pilot program, Via will provide on-demand rides to and from the Compton, El Monte and North Hollywood stations.

Good Eggs , an online, local grocery delivery service which has been piloting its services in Los Angeles, has raised $8.5M The Bay Area startup said the funding was led by Sequoia Capital, and also included Harrison Metal, Baseline Ventures, Collaborative Fund, Kapor Capital, along with angels.
