Esportz Entertainment Eyes Esports Production, Content

Irvine-based Esports Entertainment announced this morning that it plans to start covering e-sports news, and offer up live and pre-recorded, streaming content for the esports industry, with a plan to open up what it calls a "Southern California Esports Broadcast Center". According to the company, it plans to build out its "broadcast center" sometime by the end of the first quarter of 2020; however, the company says it has yet to select a site for the center. The company says it is currently evaluating 7,000 to 12,000 square foot warehouse and office properties in Orange County. The company released a set of conceptual renderings of the "broadcast center" on Monday. The company is led by chairman and CEO Mark Thimmig.
