A continuing question I hear from young entrepreneurs is whether a university degree is important to startup success, or just a distraction in achieving their purpose in the world. Both provide entrepreneurial “head start” programs for aspiring entrepreneurs, free legal guidance, and access to experienced staff members.

Anyone who works with entrepreneurs will tell you that all are different. I’ve always wondered if there was some way that I could quickly deduce a new entrepreneur’s “sweet spot,” and optimize my mentoring to those strengths and weaknesses, maybe similar to the Myers-Briggs type indicator for business professionals. Specialist.

It also makes legal sense to never disclose the details of your patent application, before the product is ready to ship. Openness is part of the business culture of entrepreneurs and technology centers around the world. With most others, like web services, incubation time must be short, and secrecy can be the kiss of death.

Those three organizations have very strong networks inventure capital, entertainment, and academia, and put together the incubator. We''re also using web articles and other data sources, and cross referencing those with location information. From there, we raised $600,000 plus to date, and recently revealed our app on the app store.
