Alpine Data Labs said Friday that it has raised $16M in a Series B funding, which came from Sierra Ventures, Mission Ventures, UMC Capital, and Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH. Alpine Data Labs'' was founded by the founders of Greenplum (Metapa), which had been backed by Mission Ventures and originally been based in Sherman Oaks.
