Google Code just release the API console. It better organizes Google’s APIs and I even discovered a couple new APIs. Right now (more are expected soon) it provides: Buzz API - Google Buzz provides developers with a powerful set of API endpoints for searching, reading, and updating post content and metadata.

Every entrepreneur starts with an idea that they believe makes sense. Google had no clue that they were going to make so much money in sponsored search. They suddenly had Javascript on pages that covered 40 million unique users and they were coming up with innovative ad products that combated banner blindness.

What does Mobophiles do, and what the idea behind the product is? Can you talk about the application and how this is different or better than similar efforts like Google Gears, etc? But, our software also supports a large number of other web applications--for example, things like Google Maps, Yahoo News, or even content sites.

After Tanz had sold his pre-Instagram photo-sharing app called MoJungle, he was intrigued with notion of bringing advertising to photos, and had no idea if it was even possible. Early on GumGum began to experiment with overlaying rich media ads through Flash with photos until technology progressed and they moved over to Javascript.

Prism will be an extension of what you can do with the Google Glass. Technologies used: google maps, jquery, java, and tomcat. Technologies used: HTML5, python, django, jQuery Mobile, javascript, mysqldb. Technologies used: Google Maps API, to help us give passengers an idea of their ETA according to distance/traffic.

The disadvantage is that you can’t install a lot of additional tools that use Javascript. I started with the hosted version and then migrated to an installed version so I could use Google Analytics and some other products. It’s where you exchange ideas with other people. Actually, that’s kind of lame.
