Surf Air Expands To Hawthorne, Palm Springs

Los Angeles-based Surf Air , the membership-based, all-you-can fly airline headed by Wade Eyerly, has extended out its footprint today, saying that it has added another aircraft and expanded service to Hawthorne and Palm Springs. Surf Air said new flights in Hawthorne will start on December 9th, and Palm Springs will start on December 12th.

Lyft Driver Killed In Hawthorne

According to the Hawthorne Police Department, 21-year old Thor Anderson, a driver for Lyft, was killed after his black Ford Fusion was broadsided by a 21 year old male driving a red Infiniti coup. A driver for ridesahring service Lyft was killed over the New Year's holiday, after he was hit by a suspected drunk driver.
