AxleHire Plans Zero Emissions Delivery In Santa Monica

A last-mile delivery company, AxleHire, says it plans to start offering up zero emissions delivery in Santa Monica, as part of Santa Monica's effort to create a voluntary zero emissions delivery zone in the city. According to AxleHire, the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) worked with AxleHire, LA County, LA Metro, ROUSH CleanTech, Nissan Motor Corporation, Shopify, and others to develop the voluntary zero emissions delivery zone in the commercial activity fcore of Santa Monica. AxleHire says it is using micro-mobility from companies like Tortoise and light- and medium-duty electric vehicles from companies like Arcimoto for food and parcel delivery.
