The idea, is to make it accessible as a multi-disciplinary part of Tel Aviv University, so that young people, alumni, and students with ideas for a company can join the fund, not only to be funded with seed money, but also so they can be accelerated and potentially incubated before they go out.

The competition, run by the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and The Architect's Newspaper, awarded the top prize in the event to Constantin Boincean, Ralph Bertram and Aleksandra Danielak of Oslo, Norway, for their design, "UMBRELLA"; the contest received seventy entries from 11 countries.

What I did, is I went to every single event I could go to, and networked my way into a small investor base.

Tickets are for concerts, ballgames, and events, but you don't use it for going to a gym. The startup incubator actually found us.
