Qualcomm Technologies Links With Oracle On Java for M2M

San Diego-based Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. , a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, said that it has linked with Oracle to bring the popular Java programming language to its machine-to-machine (M2M) chipsets. The two said they are working to bring Oracle Java ME Embedded 3.2 to ATI's QSC6270-Turbo chipset.

Qualcomm, Sun Port Java To Snapdragon

San Diego-based Qualcomm and Sun Microsystems announced today that the two are in an effort to port the popular Java programming language to Qualcomm's Snapdragon ARM processor. According to the two firms, Sun has ported its Java Platform Standard Edition 6( Java SE 6) to machines running on Qualcomm's processor.
