Topspin In Major Layoffs, Says Report

The startup offered up web-based apps to help artists and labels reach their fans. Topspin did not detail the reason for the layoffs, or how many employees were affected by the move. Topspin has been very quiet since Beats Electronics hired away CEO Ian Rogers to head up Beats Music, its new streaming music service last year.

Google Confirms Motorola Mobility 4000 Layoffs

Google will however feel the layoffs. The firm will incur a severance-related charge of over $275 million, and restructuring charges due to the staff’s severance packages and job outplacement services for the 4000 employees its laying off at Motorola Mobility.
