Ecwid, NuORDER Acquired By Lightspeed For Nearly A Billion Dollars

Two, Los Angeles area companies--Ecwid and NuORDER--are in a deal to be acquired by Canadian point-of-sale software developer Lightspeed, Lightspeed announced on Monday. According to Lightspeed, it will pay approximately $500M for Ecwid, split between $175M in cash and $325M in shares of the company.
