Adroit Media Gets $11M For Shopping Technology

Aliso Viejo-based Adroid Worldwide Media , which goes by the name AWM Smart Shelf , has raised $11M in its Series A funding round, for its retail shopping application and cashierless checkout system. The company said the new funding will go towards accelerating growth of its technology, among other efforts.

LiveXLive Acquires Gramaphone Media

Los Angeles-based livestreaming and podcasting company LiveXLive Media announced this morning that it has acquired Gramaphone Media, an artist and brand development company which was founded and is led by Eshy Gazit. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. The business will continue to be led by Gazit.
