TaskUs Founders Receive National Entrepreneur Of The Year Award

The founders of Santa Monica-based TaskUs, CEO Bryce Maddock and President Jaspar Weir, have received a national award as part of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year program, the only Southern California entrepreneurs to gain recognition in the yearly program. The two received the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 Award in the Services category, one of only 11 categories awarded in the E&Y program. TaskUs recently reached 15,000 employees, by offering up a range of customer service and business process outsourcing services. Other Southern California finalists in the Entrepreneur Of The Year program included Daniel Broukhim, Michael Broukhim, and Katie Kitchens of FabFitFun, in the Consumer Products and Retail category; Daniel Kim and Jay Lee of AuditBoard, in the Emerging category; and George Ruan and Ryan Hudson of Honey in the Technology category. Ruan and Hudson just sold Honey to PayPal for $4 billion. According to TaskUs, Maddock and Weir were selected from over 1,300 applicants nationwide for the national award.
