RealD Passes 20,000 3D Screens

Los Angeles-based RealD , the developer of 3D movie projection technology, reported this morning that it has surpassed 20,000 3D-equipped screens worldwide. RealD said it had approximately 20,200 screens installed as of its quarter ended March 23rd. The firm said it is now the "most widely used" 3D cinema technology provider.
