Zymo Research Donates COVID-19 Testing Kits

Irvine-based ,a href="https://www.zymoresearch.com">Zymo Research, a provider of molecular biology tools, says it has donated one million COVID-19 testing kits to a molecular diagnostics company in Hyderabad, India. According to Zymo, the molecular diagnostics company, Mapmygenome, is a provider of personalized DNA testing, COVID-19 testing, and genetic counseling, and provides COVID-19 testing for incoming passengers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. Zymo Research says its particular test can perform COVID-19 testing without extraction; therefore, removing the barrier of limited extraction resources.
