SpaceX Launch This Morning Might Rattle Windows In Santa Barbara, Ventura County

SpaceX is planning a launch this morning at 7:17 a.m., which might rattle windows in Santa Barbara, Ventura County, and San Luis Obispo counties, according to officials at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The SpaceX launch, of the RADARSAT Constellation Mission, will include the attempt to land the first stage of a Falcon 9 rocket at Landing Zone 4 at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The attempted landing is what is expected to rattle windows, with one or more sonic booms possible in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo, as the Falcon 9's first stage goes through several engine burns on its way into landing.
