Irvine-based Sendio, which develops email security software, has rolled out an upgraded version of the firm's email security appliance. The appliance uses a combination of SMTP tests and other methods to identify e-mail servers, along with sender address verification to very senders of emails to a user.

It can be deceptively easy to set up your own, SMTP server, to send email on behalf of that app. However, every web application needs and email component. It starts when you register for a web application, the app send you a confirmation email, which is transactional email. The problem is when the things go wrong.
