USC's CTM Hires Cisco Vet

The USC Marshall Institute for Communication Technology Management--which focuses on research in technology, communications and media--said this week that it has hired on a Cisco veteran to head up its strategy, research, and industry relations. The institute said it has appointed Josette Bonte as Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Research and Industry Relations. She was most recently at Cisco, where she served as Executive Digital Media Strategist for the Internet Business Solutions Group; USC also said she has spent the past 17 years focused on telecommunications, interactive television, Internet Protocol television and online games. Bonte also has prior entertainment experience, having served as a VP at Cookie Jar Entertainment (Arthur, Caillou, Inspector Gadget); Ovum (IPTV); and US West/CenturyLink.
