Iris.TV Scores $18M

Los Angeles-based Iris.TV, which develops contextual advertising technology focused on video, has raised $18M in a Series B investment round. The round was led by Intel Capital, and also WISE Ventures, Quest Venture Partners and Mirae Asset Venture Investment, plus angels Mike Baker (Dataxu) and Mike Shehan (SpotX). Iris.TV was foudned in 2013, and provides analysis of videos to determine the content and relevance of clips to specific viewers.
